Our vision is to increase black ownership, management control and operational involvement throughout the company value chain.

Equity within The Scientific Group is between Adcock Ingram Critical Care and Brimstone Investment Corporation Limited. Brimstone recently ranked at number three in The Sunday Times Top 100 companies hold 26% of the equity. The relationship between Brimstone and The Scientific Group is one that has prospered since 1999, leading the way in empowerment within the healthcare market.

PDI representation at board level is currently at 57%.

Employment Equity

Our vision is to increase the participation of black people in top management , professional and technical occupations.

Skills Development

Our vision is to increase the economic value added of every employee through best practise Human Resource Development, Skills Development, EE and Gender policies. A key element is to identify the critical skills, retain and create quality employment.

Preferential Procurement

We commit to increase procurement from black-owned and empowered enterprises and implement best practice supplier development policies.

Employment Equity Targets

Currently, our overall scorecard achievement is at 76%. The goal is to achieve 80% by 2009.
